About Me

I’m a petite Bornean who loves exploring the world in my tiny boots. Black, yellow, and red boots are my favourites.

Welcome to my travel blog!

Although I mainly write for a living, I keep myself busy with other things as well, from working on campervan setups in new Zealand to making music. Since I write every day and often travel, I thought, ‘Why not run a travel blog’? Besides being able to look back at the things I’ve done and the places I’ve explored, I also get satisfaction from connecting with readers from around the world and other travellers who like to travel as much as I do.

In My Tiny Boots is where I document my travels, share my experiences, and cover travel tips you might find helpful.

I haven’t covered many countries, but I always find myself visiting a country over and over again. I’ve had the most memorable travel memories in Laos. Vietnam is by far a foreign country I enjoy coming back to.

I’m not in a rush to explore the world – there’s just so much to see I might not be able to see everything that the world has to offer.

As an Aquarius, I like to go with the flow. So let’s see where my feet take me.

In 2013, I did my first solo trip. Vietnam was the first country I visited on my own. Then in 2015, I tried travelling with very little money and hitchhiked for the first time. I’ve been an active traveller since then.

I quit my office job to work as a freelancer. Freelancing has allowed me to spend more time with myself and my loved ones. And it allows me to embrace the digital nomad life!

I don’t travel full-time. But I’ll pack my bags whenever I feel like it and change my environment from time to time. For that reason, I’m a minimalist generally, always trying to keep my stuff at a minimum.

Thank you for taking the time to read my articles. Keep exploring.  And stay curious.
